Since the inception of our partnership in 2010, The Window Exchange and Give the Dog a Bone have forged a robust and enduring relationship, marked by the successful completion of numerous website projects.
The collaboration commenced a decade ago when The Window Exchange approached Give the Dog a Bone, seeking a solution for their outgrown, in-house-built website. Responding to their evolving needs, we developed a bespoke content management system, empowering The Window Exchange to autonomously manage and update their website content. This platform afforded them the flexibility to showcase projects, share the latest news, and provide downloads to their customer base. This initial website served them admirably for five years.
In 2015, recognising the increasing significance of mobile responsiveness, The Window Exchange embarked on a journey towards a more modern website. After thoughtful discussions, we opted for the Drupal 7 framework, providing enhanced flexibility in content management.
Fast forward to 2023, and The Window Exchange once again approached Give the Dog a Bone to strategise a new web refresh. As a family-run business with a significant standing in the local area and heightened respect within their industry since the inception of their first website in 2010, The Window Exchange sought to revitalise their online presence to align with their elevated status.
After thorough discussions, we collaboratively designed and constructed their third website, embodying their expertise and sterling reputation within their industry. This iteration, built on the Drupal 9 framework, continued to offer the benefits of a content management system while positioning them for a seamless upgrade to Drupal 10, ensuring the long-term security of their web framework.
